“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.” -Psalm 46:5
The answer is simple. About 3 years ago, I had big aspirations of being a “vlogger” (a person who makes videos, essentially a Youtuber). I don’t quite remember what I planned to talk about, but I remember I wanted to do it. In 2017, maybe even before that, I knew that God had planted something in me. I knew that my life experiences and my life testimony was meant to inspire others. But I did not know how to go about it.
One day, I was sitting on my couch, and I was journaling, writing a letter to God. Writing letters to God is my second form of prayer and how God speaks to me. I was at the end of my letter to God and I was going to write “Love, Lydia”. But the Holy Spirit allowed me to write “Sincerely YOURS, Lydia”.
Why Sincerely YOURS, Lydia? I have come to understand that, I have been bought and purchased by the blood of Jesus. There is a man who loved the world so much, that he gave his son, who died for us (John 3:16). Therefore, I am no longer my own, but I belong to Christ. I am his. Not only am I his, but I am also YOURS. I have been called out to be the light of this world (Matt 5:14) and that’s what I plan to do.
As you will see in a few blogs, I am by NO means perfect. Actually, it’s quite the opposite. I am not here to be overspiritual. I am here to share how God has touched, changed and transformed me. I want to really encourage someone somewhere that no matter where you are in your journey, whether on the fence of accepting Christ, recently accepting Christ or fallen into the trap of old sinful ways, that THE man Jesus got you. You think you have a past? Many do. But that should never stop you from drawing close to God.
Welcome to this journey, where I will take you on an interesting ride and I hope that you will encounter Christ in some way as we spend time together. God bless you and keep you safe from all harm.
Sincerely Yours, Lydia.
God bless you, Lydia. I will be driving in often.
I am so proud of you, Lydia. I know your story and experiences will bless so many people, and I will definitely glean on some to help others❤️.
That’s really nice, Lydia. I pray for more grace for you. Much love 💕.
